We take pieces from people who have done the work. Send the idea first, not the finished article.

What we take

• Earning money on the side, and what a gig is really like day to day.
• Looking for work, and what worked for you.
• Handling money that arrives in uneven amounts.

The rules

• It has to be yours, and it cannot be published anywhere else.
• Plain words. A 12 year old should be able to read it. We check this.
• Every number needs a source we can open and check.
• One link to your own site, in the line about you at the end.
• No link stuffing, and no links added for someone else.
• We edit for clarity, and we may say no without giving a reason.

How to send an idea

Write to [email protected] or use the ask page and pick "I want to write for you". Send two or three sentences on what the piece would say and what you have done yourself.
