  You list things you own and post them when they sell. Mercari keeps 10% of the sale. Listing is free. You are not paid until the buyer rates you, which can take days after delivery.

  First money: Ship within 3 business days of the sale. The buyer has 72 hours after delivery to rate you, or Mercari rates it after 3 days. A bank transfer then takes 5 business days. Another Mercari page says 5-7. We found no carrier time on the Mercari pages we read.
